My usual diet consists of skipping breakfast, eating a small lunch, and basically not eating as much. This does make me lose weight, but I feel so hungry at night. That's when I heard of the Jorge Cruise's "3 hour diet" and tried it. I gained weight instead of losing it, probably because I have been starving myself before. I followed the plan which allows me to eat 3 meals a day and 2 snacks in between every 3 hours. But because I have been starving myself before, does that mean that the 3 hour diet will not work for me?

I have gestational diabetes and the doctor makes me eat every three hours. I eat 15 carbs in the morning 30-45 carbs with lunch and dinner and all my snacks are 15 carbs. Im not doing this to lose weight, I am simply trying to regulate my blood sugar, but im losing about 2 pounds a week. The doctors are ok with it because im healthy and so is the baby, blus I weigh 250 and shouldnt gain a lot while being pregnant. Im losing weight, so maybe you can too.
Also, eating one meal a day will cause you to gain weight because your body thinks its starving so when you do put food into it it holds on to everything it can because it doesnt know when it will get its next meal.

Ouch, you are hurting your body big time. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, to eat a balanced breakfast will help you to burn calories throughout the day. You should be eating often, small quantities of healthy snacks. I do not think that something called 3 hour diet works at all. I would visit a nutritionist and follow a good plan with him/her. If you do not eat, your body tends to burn less fat. Starving yourself can lead to heart and kidney problems, among others. You can eat like a queen and stay slim, please consider the idea to seek the opinion of a doctor specialized in nutrition; we all are different and we need different nutrients and quantities, the doctor can create a personalized plan for you.
Cheers,

Everybody is different what you should try is boosting your metabolisom. You can do this by eating like 6-8 small meals a day. Like for breakfast eat oatmeal, skiping breakfast can be the problem, breakfast is the main meal you need to get your metabolism going. then eat like some almonds and carrots. But try and eat healthy and small portions for these meals. Stick to turkey, chicken, fish, etc.. in between meals drink lots of water. This should help to lose some weight...

3 hour diets do not work and neither does starving yourself. The only way to lose weight and keep it off is to eat right and excercise.
Five small non fattening healthy meals a day is the best way to lose

You are on the right path with your 3 meals and 2 snacks daily. This way you will turn on your metabolism and you will loose weight right away no matter what you did before.

Try eating a grapefruit when you feel like you're starving that should curb your appetite and give that diet plan some time to see if it works.
