Talk to the prescribing physician. They may have some samples he can give you to get you through. Then contact the manufacturer of the drugs you are taking, some of them have programs to help people in your situation out. Then, look into getting insurance through your school. I know my college offered a program, it wasn't a great one, but ti will cover some! If not, look into getting public assistance or something like that.

I wish I could help you. The wellbutrin xr 300mgs did not work for me. I have a whole bottle sitting in my cabinet. I've tried xanax and it really didn't help me that much. It's also not an anti-depressant! I have a friend that is so hooked on it she's been in rehab at least 3 times and she needs to be there again. Don't start anything like that. You think you're anxious now, just wait til you're hooked on a downer and can't get anymore. My friend drives me nuts! She's a maniac when she takes xanax. Make a stop at the local mental/health center and if they can see you right away you can get your meds right away. Problem is they are normally too booked up to get you in for 2 or 3 months. Don't let yourself go without. You will be worse when you are off of it for a few days or so. Buy it one more time and be on the search hot and heavy for some assistance!!!!! I feel for you. Ask someone for help.

I actualy take the generic form of Wellbtrin.
I lost my insurance in Oct. This is the cheapest way I found to keep my meds and my (most) of my money.
I switched from XL (Extended release) to the the regular bupropion.
Rather that two 150 mg pills I take four 75 mg pills and extend the release myself by spacing it out.
I also took my presciption to Wal-Mart.
Total cost around 64 dollars a month.
This is the cheapest way I found..... except my friend has low income coverage but if you make any money you will not qualifily. Check with Health and Human Services to see if you qualifiy.

Have you tried applying for Medicaid? The eligibility criteria is different from state-to-state; but generally, if your total assets are below $2,000 (total family assets), then you may qualify for assistance, including help with medications. "Family assets” means the net value of any real property, bank accounts, income, savings, automobiles, etc. of any family member other person who provides support. A person providing housing *is* providing support, and that support has a value. If no one is supporting you, the first thing a Medicaid counselor may ask is, "how are you living on zero dollars?" If you are living on student loans, and truly have no other support or income, then you may qualify, especially if have a dependent child. Good luck.

Well, you can ask your dr for samples (maybe he/she can help you out SOME by giving you a few sample packs-hey, it helps for a month or two, better than nothing). Also, you can ask to be changed to something that would do the same but cost less- if possible. I understand where you're coming from. I am in the same situation with effexor and clonapin

You can order them from Juárez, México legally. I visited a real pharmacy there and they gave me a brochure if I ever needed meds. I think I lost it but do a search on pharmacies there. Its the same price as getting them with insurance.
Also, you should get Medicaid or Medicare. Or visit the Montell show website and he hooks people up with free meds.

Xanax is cheap and it works very well for anxiety. Wellbutrin XL has been known to cause some nasty side effects so it's not my favorite one when I think of antideps...I suggest talking to your doctor about other options and then contacting the pharmaceutical companies. Many of them will help you pay for your meds or even offer them for free if you qualify financially...
Good luck...
