I am planning on getting a light for my camcorder and i was wondering which one is better.
sima sl 10l led = 10 watts
sony hvl 10nh halogen= 10 watts

10 watts is the power consumed by the LED or Halogen , the out put of lumens/watt differs betwen different kind of lamps or bulbs. i hope LED have more intensity than halogen for the power consumed.

While the LED is more efficient than the halogen, I think you'd be better off with the halogen. It's designed to put out the correct spectrum for the camcorder. The LED light is has more blue in it than most normal lights have. It will make your video look strange.

Dont think the led is gonna b as bright as the halogen.
