Ultimate truth is unattainable for starters, for each of us live in a subjective reality. We must first learn that we can never know everything there is to know, and would you really want the hassle of being omnicient anyway? Would you really want to know what people really think about you, and how many times they crap in a day? The truth is that truth is to be sought after and never be completely attained. The enjoyment comes in the search itself the progress toward learning. Once you have learned everything, what is left? Nothing. So what would you do then? Understanding that all truth can never be found by man is a great mystery that keeps us searching for it. Seek and ye shall find, but once found, look for another truth to find. For you never what you'll find or where you'll end up!

Never in words. Not in someone else, until I find it in my being I am truly lost and asleep. However words can point to the truth. Here is an old saying, understand it as you will. "It will never be found by seeking, but only seekers find it".

I am a seeker. I am not sure that I really understand the truth; but at least I am confirmed of few important points before seeking:
The conditions to be a seeker.
The criteria to recognize truth.
The value of truth.
And it is better to embark on it rather than continuing to exist in ignorance.

Unending, skeptical study of religions, cultures, rituals, and Magick. Book and article collections that pile up and cover the walls as well as fill hard drives. 65 years and finally some thought there might actually be Truth with a capital T.
If not this cycle, then the next.

For me, I would say a combination of several things I have noticed in these answers. Praying, reading the Bible, those to me are essential. However it is also essential to be a person who is willing to question everything, to listen to people you disagree with, really listen to them, and allow them to challenge your beliefs. Truth can stand the test of challenge. And that way, we can narrow down what we are absolutely sure of, avoiding being cock-sure of just everything.
EDIT:
I see one word I used was automatically misinterpreted by the YA spell-check. May I say: "rooster-sure of just everything"!!! LOL

The truth is found within ones own mind. It is there from birth, and was a gift from the Creator. All have the knowledge, but many refuse to explore it, without a fairytale involved.
Live well......

I assume you are speaking of a relationship with God. Yes, I am a seeker. There are several steps to finding it. One is reading the scriptures. We are to read and ponder and seek understanding.
Prayer is another step. We are to give thanks for our blessings. Our prayers should include our plea for forgiveness and strength to repent and turn away from sin.
Another is our works. We are not going to find the truth when we are indulging in the ways of the world. God commanded us to give service to others. By helping others, more truths are discovered.
The Holy Spirit is a witness of the truth. By reading the scriptures, praying and receiving your personal revelations, by practicing the truth, the Spirit will witness unto us.

I know Truth when I see it. I know Truth when Divinity whispers in my ear. I Seek with open Heart and open Mind. Divinity wants a personal relationship with those who follow It. I have a question for you, what, pray tell, is a personal relationship?

Yes, but for me, the truth is the understanding of the Divine. I'm trying to stay focused, true to my beliefs, true in my love for Him, never giving into pressure to deviate, and always keeping the goal in sight. It also helps to keep good company, meaning the company of people who share similar goals that you do.
Hope this helps.
