problem with Leapfrog fridge phonics?

Question

It's reading the numbers and letters wrong..
said the number 1 was number 3, said the letter J was the letter L ..
anyone have this happen and/or know how to fix this problem with it?

okay glad to hear i'm not the onl;y person who's had that happen. I'll change the batteries and see if that works. as soon as i can dig some up.

Try calling Leapfrog's customer service line (1-800-701-LEAP (5327)). They are really great about working with you to try to troubleshoot to fix the problem while you are on the phone with them. If you are still having problems with the product, they usually will send a replacement to you and packaging to send the defective product back.
I have had minor issues with the Leapster and the did more than most companies do to keep their customers happy! You should not have any problems after talking to them.

it is most likely the batteries, if not there are little notches on the letters and the thing itself, make sure they are clean and nothing is stuck on them. if these two things dont work, look at the instruction manuel, there should be a number to call and complain. i have found that complaining when something is of bad quality usually gets the problem solved and they will probably send you a new one.

My daughters done the same thing and I changed the batteries and it fixed the problem. If that didn't fix it for you though, call the company and they will send you a replacement.

You need to change the batteries and if that doesn't work call the company and tell them what is wrong.
