Al Gore's film, "An Inconvenient Truth", took the Oscar last night for The Bestest and Most Truest Movie Ever Made. Both Leonardo DiCaprio and Melissa Etheridge now stand adoringly in his court. How many Oscars does Al Gore have to win before the rest of America will take the threat of Global warming seriously?

America is too capitalistic to ever take it seriously. Money is far more important than taking care of the environment to American producers, manufacturers and businesses.

An Oscar award what ever may be the count wont help reduce GHG(Green house Gasses). But at same might be a good advertisement for his awarness campaign that he had stirred out.It is indeed a good recognition for the cause and the endevour that he had choosen to intiate. It may not have served directly to reduce the effects of global warming but it has certainly made an impact on the American public as never before.

i'm happy his movie gained for quite a few motives. One because it helped me win my oscar pool. 2 because it became the acceptable Documentary of the year. The others were about how loopy Christians are or how insane the Iraq warfare is so i'm positive you would hate those too. This became likely the least offensive movie to Repubs. 3 because it really is bringing interest to an subject i imagine is significant it really is international Warming. i do not imagine he is going to run for president and that i do not imagine he is going to stay in Hollywood both.

If Al Gore is so worried about global warming then why is he flying in a jet that is said to be a contributor to man made global warming to promote his dvd on the cause. It looks to me like he would be trying to find an alternate method of travel that would help his cause not hurt it. I have heard scientist that say that there is no such thing as man made global warming. We are supose to have man made global warming yet there are places that have record breaking tempatures (cold) how do you explain that?? Looks like to me if we have such man made global warming the (cold) tempatures would not be record breaking. Think about it!!

I hate to tell you, but every Oscar he wins and every air head Hollywood type that supports him, HURTS his case, it doesn't help him. Read the latest news on Saint Al given in the reference. Being a scientist, I can tell you he hurts the cause more than helps it

it's a sad sad day when they rally behind Gore, Bush must have destroyed a lot of people if he's all we're left with.
