They can correct almost everything, but not everything everything.

From what I understand, the Invisalign can do just about all the straightening that normal braces can, but not some of the more complicated things such as correcting buck-teeth.

If you're thinking about Invisalign, ask your dentist or orthodontist- they should know what can and can't be fixed. If it's for a child, know that there is an age limit on the Invisalign, or at least there used to be.

No it can't. I'm an Invisalign-certified dentist, so this is not a guess. My personal rule is not to try to move any individual tooth more than 2 mm, although some will try for more. If a tooth is that far out of alignment, it is difficult to get an appliance made that would insert over the worst offending tooth.

AS AN INVISALIGN CERTIFIED DENTIST MYSELF, I AGREE WITH DR. SAM. INVISALIGN WILL WORK FOR MOST CASES BUT NOT FOR ALL. THIS DEPENDS ON THE CASE AT HAND.
