I had two teeth (molars, both on the bottom right) pulled a few weeks ago (more than 3). The gum has been slowly healing and stopped hurting awhile ago. A few days ago, I noticed that the gum is swollen over the furthest back on. Like there is a buildup of fluid under it or something. It does not hurt, but I am wondering what this is and if I should see my dentist or if the gum will heal itself.

IF IT WERE TO BE A SITE OF INFECTION THE AREA WOULD BE REDDISH AND WOULD HURT WHEN TOUCHED.
I'D CONTINUE TO KEEP AN EYE ON IT. IT JUST PROBABLY IS A SITE OF FLUID EDEMA (COLLECTION).

I had oral surgery twice and both times my mouth healed really quickly within 3 or 4 days. I am surprised it has taken so long. You should go get it checked out bc some sort of infection might have started.

Catch it now before it escalates...
Good Luck

Yes, you probably should see your dentist. I had a build up once just like it and it turned out that I had trapped some food in the healing process and had to have it removed.

The gauze you were given after your extractions, were supposed to stay in place and changed frequently, until the bleeding stopped. If you did not continue this process during healing, you may have a problem.

I'd see you dentist and ask him/her. I can't see it from here. I know I had noticeable holes in my mouth for several years before they completely healed.

maybe you should make an appointment with your dentist. It could be a fluid sack infection called an abcess and they can be very painful if not treated.

yea you should go get that checked because you never know if its normal or something really bad, I mean for all I know it could be pus but then again you never know. To make it easier you could call your dentisit first and find out if its something to worry about or not.
