Hear me out before you start quoting Bible scripture:

1) If Jesus was God, there was no sacrifice because God cannot inflict pain nor "kill" himself

2) If Jesus was "divine man" (i.e., demi-god), he knew with 100% certainty that he would be returned to Heaven. That is something no real human - no matter how strong his/her faith - can ever know for sure. It is that uncertainty that causes even believers to fear death. Without it, the fear of death is gone. I would venture to guess that many people would willingly submit to brutal torture for a day or two if they knew with 100% certainty they would reach Heaven.

there is no such thing as a "demi-god" --- there is only One FULLY GOD and FULLY MAN being and that is Jesus. That is not the same thing as a demi-god. Different "species" if you will. Man inflicted the pain - it was man that used the whip on Jesus back, placed the crown of thorns on His head, and crucified Him on a cross - that is where the physical pain came from. The emotional and spiritual pain of the experience was from the weight of sin when Jesus hung there being the payment for sin. Jesus did not kill Himself, He gave His life as a substitute for ours --- WE (mankind) killed Him because of our sins. I beg to differ with you on your second assumption also. I KNOW with 200% certainty that if I died this moment, I would go to heaven. How can I say that? Because I know my sins are under the blood. I do not fear "death" - I sometimes get a little nervous thinking about the possible pain of the experience, but death itself holds no fear for me. I fear "brutal torture" far more than I do death itself. Christ's sacrifice meant everything - just because He knew He would rise again the third day did not negate that sacrifice. He still carried sinless God blood in a human vessel and He gave both that you might live. The real question is - what are you personally going to do with that knowledge? Will you ask Christ to forgive you of your sins, come into your heart and be your Savior? Then you too can be 200% sure of going to heaven. There are no doubts about destiny when you are IN Christ Jesus.

Jesus? God or Demi-god? The truth is Jesus was neither. He while on earth was a man, without sin.John 3:13,John 6:28, John 8:42 An equal to Adam.
Before he was put on earth he existed in the spiritual heavens as the first born or creation of God The Almighty. See Proverbs 8:22-31, Colossians 1:15-17, Revelation 3:14
As far as his knowledge goes he did not know his full purpose until he was baptized. and then he still did not know all things. See Mathew 24:36,
The reason that people think he was Almighty or part of the Almighty God Head is because of false teachings and doctrines of men. If you need more clarification?

1. Who said God can't inflect pain? Jesus was God AND man. Mary, a human, was His mother. God and all Gods attributes, was His Father. True God and true man. As such, Jesus could, and did, die. Jesus didn't kill Himself. Read the account of the crucifixion. Roman soldiers nailed Him to a cross=death. 2. True. And it's exactly the same for us. I know with 100% certainty that I am going to Heaven. Not because of anything good I've done, not because I deserve to go to Heaven. But because Jesus being God, holy, perfect, sinless etc.. went to the cross and earned forgiveness for me..everybody. It's up to us to have faith in Him, trust in Him and what He did for our salvation, give Him honor and live like we mean it. Jesus died so we can be forgiven and have 100% knowledge that we are going to heaven. Many many people know this to be true. Jesus own disciples knew this and they died proclaiming it. Some were in fact tortured. They knew that when they opened their eyes they would be in Heaven...I know this too. SO CAN YOU. You might want to talk to a major denomination minister and get more information on this. Jesus knew what the truth was and so can we. HEAVEN.

Jesus, is the name of the physical body that contains the spirit of God. Is Jesus God? That's like asking is a paper box of chocolate, chocolate?

Of course it is, but is the box itself chocolate? No.

Can the box be eaten??? NO. Only the chocolates can be eaten.

Can Jesus be killed? YES. Can God be killed? No. The one that died on the cross is Jesus (God in-carnate). It is the physical body that was born perfect, that was crucified.

So, that answers your quesiton 1.

Question 2. Well, you're not right because it has alot to do with faith. At the cross, Jesus said "why have you forsaken me, God". This shows that Jesus did not know with absolute knowledge what will happen during cruxificion nor after cruxificion. He only knows from absolute faith to abide.

When your faith is so great, it becomes reality. That's when you act. But are you to fault the person for getting it right?

Your questions are flawed because your understanding has gaps. I hope by this answer you are clearer in your understanding.

What is the problem with bible scripture? Yes, but Jesus was also born into the flesh, and it wasn't easy for him to give his life, he even asked God to take this cup from him. Yeah, I would sustain a few days or years of torture to go to heaven. Especially since I am washed int he blood of Jesus and i know that is where I am going. Yes, I have faith in God. I know he is real, heaven is real and my salvation is real. I'm so anxious to get to heaven I could practically kill myself. But not only would that be a sin that I wouldn't be able to repent for there are too many people who don't know Jesus and I have a purpose to fulfill before I go.

Ah, but you are forgetting that we all have an immortal soul. Therefore we all do have 100% certainty of reaching heaven, just as we have 100% certainty of spending an eternity in hell.
Also, Jesus came as a fully human man, and although he knew his purpose he was still subject to the anguishes of this world, including fear.
Jesus' sacrifice was a way of showing us that we all have the ability to transcend death, his teachings said as much but the ultimate proof had to be his sacrifice and resurrection otherwise it was nothing more than words to so many that witnessed him.

While there are many more issues left to resolve for you, here goes:

1) Your first point is patently incorrect. Jesus is truly God. Jesus is also fully man. His humanity was in fact, mortal.

2) The fact that Jesus knew he would be resurrected is irrelevant. All he needed to do to redeem mankind, and put Satan out of business, was to permit the forces of evil to unjustly put him to death.

The original commandment from God was simply: You sin ... you die. The flip side of that law was: One without sin is NOT liable to die.

Adam sinned, so death came into the world. An unexpected consequence of sin was Adam's becoming enslaved under the evil dominion of Satan, the devil.

Yet death and Satan had power over only those who committed sin, or those who were (either directly or genealogically) fathered by Adam.

Jesus suffered from neither of these two issues, as his father is God, and he never sinned, nor was he ever touched by sin in any way.

When Satan arranged for his Jewish and Roman minions to crucify Christ, Satan broke God's original commandment, as one who is without sin is not liable to die.

Satan was judged for his crime, found guilty, and stripped of all that he had earlier gained from Adam's transgression.

Jesus was resurrected, and all power in heaven, on the earth, and under the earth, was given to him.

Jesus gave mankind his freedom.

With Jesus as the new and sinless head of all mankind, God was now more than willing to forgive the sins of anyone who swore faithful allegiance to his son, Jesus.

The Church continues the work of salvation in the world today.

Jesus is fully God and fully man.

SInce Jesus is fully man, the "grace" he obtained accrues to the benefit of all mankind.

Since Jesus is fully God, the power and effectiveness of that "grace" is infinite and eternal.

Under God's first and most basic law, no one had the right to take the life of a sinless man, let alone the only son of God.

The moment Jesus died, Satan's fate was sealed, and mankind's redemption was truly at hand.

Brenden: Procure yourself a copy of the Roman Crucifixion. You wouldn't put your worse enemy's twin brother through it. Crucifixion was a select execution reserved for the worse enemies of Rome ! Jesus actually prayed for His deliverance prior to His Crucifixion, at the hands of the Romans, at three different times ! And when God does this - it must be a real lulu !!! It was the human part of His God in the flesh, which caused Him the most pain. The bones exposed from the lead - tipped cat-o-nine tails being imprinted in His flesh, at each stroke from the Roman torture experts, specializing in his craft. Jesus never killed Himself- He was murdered.

1) Jesus was here in a human form. God can do anything what is not contradictory to His Word. He died but He also conquered the death like He said.

2) He was the very center of God's will when He died, and fulfilled the Bible prophecy.

Why is it so hard for people to see that God and Jesus are the same? To me it is like saying 'I am my Mother" Jesus is His Father.. The same.....A part of God is still God. Jesus talked to God, His Father and was told about things that would happen in His life. Jesus knew because His Father gave Him the knowledge
