I'm the kind of person who chooses to think rationally about the choices before him in this life and not to pathetically cling to irrational beliefs or primitive dogmas.

"HEAVEN" is my answer. This is why----> As long as I'm going to believe in something, I'm going to maximize on a precious thing called "HOPE" ! You believe one thing, I believe another, but who has the highest "hope" ?
I think this is important, because the grim reaper comes knocking at my door, this is the only thing I'm going to have to encourage me. The Bible says "absent from the body; present with the Lord" (2 Corinthians 5:8).
Hell?? A time-space solitary confinement prison without God and without hope forever !Forget that !
Why would I ever want to live my life with the thought of having to spend a thousand years in purgatory?
And why would I ever want to come back to this life once I'm out of here? As a dog, or a cat??? No thanks! I've been through enough; one time is plenty.
I think its impossible to improve upon the idea of finding myself in the presence of the Lord the instant I close my eyes in death. This is real hope. When we have this kind of hope, it makes life in this dangerous world a lot easier.
As far as "religion" goes, show me "real hope" and you have my attention. The Bible says there is really only one hope of glory, and that's Jesus Christ (Colossians 1:27). If He didn't die for all our sins (past, present, and future) to open the way for us to stand in Heaven completely guiltless and innocent, then we might as well forget religion because we are indeed God and without hope in this world (Ephesians 2:112).
Hey ! God Bless !
Love in the Lord,
P. Ron Swingle

Hopefully I'd have a short trip through Purgatory and eventually head up to the Pearly Gates.

I think the majority of us would go to purgatory, some to hell and none to heaven. That's how I see it.

Umm none of the above. I would decompose and return to the earth as nutrients for some plants, fungi, and insects. The circle of life.

When I die, I will know for sure. If I have accomplished everything I needed to, I will stay in heaven, if not, I will be reincarnated.

None of the above. When I die, I will go to one of the many halls in Asgard to drink and feast with my ancestors and my Gods until Ragnarök.

It is not about the TYPE of person you are - it is about WHO you KNOW. If you do not know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, then you die and go to hell. If you do know Him in salvation then you die (or are raptured) and go to heaven. There is no other reality. That is all there is no matter what TYPE of person you consider yourself to be. There is one Truth, one Reality, One God and only One Way - Jesus.
