mac mp3 converting to windows?

i have a mac and i have a grage band song that i sent to Itunes and then saved it on to my removeable disc (little stick i call my pimpstick lol). what format should i use so i can listen to the song on my windows ex. .mp4

Last time I heard Windows is able to play MP3 files. Enjoy.
