My girlfriend is supposed to go to school every day, she's in trouble with court, and could get taken away, which scares me, however when she is 16.. in 3 more months they cannot do this anymore, shes been at my house for the whole feb vacation. She had school today but didn't go because she was here.. but I tried to get her up this morning and she was very sick and could not get up.. well tonight she's on her way home, a mother of her friend called here threatening me saying she'll go to a group home and the police will look for her and she'll be moved out of state. Was she just going that far to scare me? and was it so wrong not to force her to go to school today even though she had a 100 fever?

And of course, she went to the doctor, right? Because otherwise, you have no proof that she was sick.

Anyone can report it, and what happens after that will depend on the judge and all the circumstances of the entire case, which we don’t know, but apparently things were a bit bad if the court has gotten involved.

I’m interested in knowing how old you are. Are you an adult? Was this a situation of a 15-year-old child spending unsupervised time (overnight) with an adult boyfriend? (Now, I’ll admit that I’m assuming that merely because you didn’t mention anyone else attempting to get her up for school.) If so (and actually even if you’re not an adult), you’ve probably just made things worse. There’s not a judge alive that’s going to believe things were completely innocent, and she’s below the age of sexual consent in every single state. I’d suggest you rethink having girlfriend spend the night(s).

Why do you think “in 3 more months they cannot do this anymore”? As long as she’s a minor—and she’s a minor until she turns 18—the court can order her to do anything they want.

I think the lady was serious about reporting her. if she ha s a court order to go to school then if she was sick she should have gone to the doctor, I think you guys just blew it. Court orders are taken very seriously.

It's strange that they would let a 15 y/o girl stay with you for that long to start with. If they call the aurtorities they may have their own problems. But you should have called her Mom when she wanted to stay away from school.
