ok so i still like my ex boyfriend and he wrote me a note saying: im sorry for breaking up with u, maybe we could be friends, maybe we could go back out sometime? and now he is goin out with my best friend....which was his ex girlfriend when he was dating me. im so confused...what does this mean, does he like me or not? thanks for ur help and advice

well i think that he is sorry, but i dink hes not used to being alone so since he cnt really go to you at this moment he just needs someone there so im supposing hes on rebound? and i think he possibly could still be liking you, but he's just not ready to dive back in with you quite yet, just give him some time to clear up himself becuz he's probably just as confused as you are & sort out his priorities and as for yourself go enjoy the single life! you'll never know who's out there waiting for you! =) goodluck! and ur welcome! =D

It sounds like he doesn't want to be single, and he'll take anyone he can get. I don't think you and your "best friend" are really best friends are switching boyfriends all the time, that's called backstabbing. If he really really liked you then he would wait for you, and not go out with anyone else. He prolly just can't make up his mind of who to go out with, and you definitely don't want to be 2nd choice! Plus, you don't want to go out with someone who writes you a note, and can't ask you out to your face. Totally find someone new!

I'd have to say move on with this one. It's just too complicated, and you are probably better off just leaving behind this whole situation. And if he really liked you, he would have never broke up with you, and he wouldn't be going out with your best friend, his ex.
