To treat people as equals of course. I may be Christian, but that certainly doesn't make me better than someone who is not Christian. It only means that I have a different belief system. Everyone is different and everyone believes differently. Take for instance the Christian faith. There are many different religions that believe in Jesus, which makes them Christian, and they all claim to be "the right religion". So if all of these people are claiming the be the perfect religion, then which religion is the "right" religion? No one will ever know simply because all of those people do think they are better than everyone. I am Christian, but I don't have a Church. I practice in my home because organized religion = war! I refuse to go to a place where the people all think that they're better than those who go to the church across the street.

I believe that all people are born equal. What we each make of ourselves is another story. Sin destroys, and the sins of the father (whether present or not) are visited to the children and grandchildren. Each of us has the opportunity to stop the destruction of our own families by accepting Christ and turning from sin.

For example, if your great grandfather, your grandfather and your father and all his family were all alcoholics - you have a choice. Continue the trend and pass it on to your children - or stop it in yourself.

My Lord and Savior went to the cross for these people. If He loved them that much what kind of a follower of his would I be if I did not?

I'm atheist. One of the best things about being atheist is I don't have preconceived notions about people. I actually like a lot of christians. I like a level playing field. If you are a loving kind person that impresses me. Period. If you are hateful and judgemental I treat you like an ********.

It would be easy to say treat everyone as equal, but that would be dishonest. Obviously, friends and family are treated better than everyone else, because they are my clan. I don't think they're better people than everyone else, just that they're mine.

In a more general sense, everyone gets courtesy from me, and is entitled to the same treatment.

I'd say the world is like a volleyball game played on gravel. lot of pain, hard terrain, but you celebrate extra when you get a point, especially when the odds are against you.
