Y wont movies work on qUicktime?

I downloaded a clockwork orange off of limewire and qUicktime says i'm missing some necessary software to rUn it.whats wrong?(p.s.,what is the name of the song in a clockwork orange's trailer where its like,let the drUmmer kid,let the drUmmer kid die?or is it let the drama kid,let the drama kid die?Please help me oUt friends.

Hello Robert J,

Quicktime is for playing MPEGs and .mov files. Can you use DVD player to play the movie instead?
