Its not wrong to avoid a relationship but I think you should have at least one day a week to go out and do something with a buddy so you wont turn depressed or lose your people skills. I use to talk to a psychiatrist and she says that it helps to go out with people so you wont get depressed and lose people skills.

It's not wrong. If you are happy doing it, then there's no problem. However, on some level, social connections are necessary, whether for career advancement or even if simply fall down the stairs one day and need someone to take you to the hospital. If you do not have relationships, there will be no help when you're in trouble. Everybody needs people at some point. You do not have to become a socialite, but you could try going out for a drink with people from work. Since you are a homebody, you could invite one person that you like to visit you. If you generally prefer to be alone most of the time, that is fine, but incorporating people into your life occasionally would create a healthy balance.

Nothing wrong with that. Some people just aren't social butterflies and preffer a simple, quiet life. Of course there are people who are social monsters who would consider this weird, but don't listen to them. You're not hurting anyone, and if this is just what you preffer - fine. Nothing wrong with that. And you shouldn't have to explain yourself to anyone either. Some people preffer to have 10 best friends and talk on the phone for hours and go out regularaly, and some people can't wait to get back home to some peace and quiet solitude and read a good book by themselves. Some people like chocolate ice-cream - doesn't mean the people who like strawberry ice-cream are odd. They just like different things.

Don't worry about it. Who told you this was wrong?

Wrong? No, there's nothing "evil" about it.
Unhealty and unbeneficial? Very.
Like it or not, human beings are social animals. We generate psychological and emotional health from having relationships, it's an important part to remaining happy and healthy. You don't need relationships to SURVIVE, if that's all you care about, but if you want a fulfilled, complete and satisfying life, you're gonna have to come to terms with it.

You may have a social phobia as many people do. Why don't you talk to your doctor about medication and/or referral to a therapist who deals with phobias? I am introverted and enjoy my time alone, but, I recognize that, in order to have a full life, it is necessary to have satisfying relationships. Good luck.

No, it's not wrong if it's what makes you happy. If you're not happy being that way then you should seek to change it, but if you're content with the way you live your life, then why question it.

No, it isn't "wrong". IF you feel that your life in fullfilled enough, then it is. The only opinion that matters is the one in your heart. Good Luck.

It's nothing to do with wrong or right but it does make yo u a fuc*king loser. You are seriously wasting your life, just existing for the sake of it. Why not call up some of your friends from school and invite them over to your house for a bbq and drinks. When you drink alcohol it makes it much easier to talk to people. Get out there and have a go at living and making friends
