Just food for thought.... Found this:
What usually pops in people's minds when you talk about raw eggs are the risks of being infected with salmonella.
There is no doubt that salmonella is a serious infection. Its symptoms include diarrhea, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, feve, chills. The symptoms of salmonella food poisoning can strike anyone, but they're more likely to hit 3 groups: the elderly; children; and people with HIV, cancer, or other diseases which impair the immune system.
Salmonella is usually a self-limiting illness in healthy people
However the truth is that salmonella is generally a benign self-limiting illness in healthy people. The key principle to keep in mind here is that if you are healthy a salmonella infection is not a big deal. You may feel sick and have loose stools for a day or 2, but this infection is easily treated by using high-quality probiotics which contain friendly bacteria. Take some probiotics every 30 minutes until you start to feel better, and in most cases your condition will improve within a few hours.
The risk of salmonella infection is usually only present in traditionally raised commercial hens. If one purchases ones eggs from healthy chickens, the risk of infection is dramatically reduced. It's important to note that only sick chickens lay salmonella-contaminated eggs. If you purchase high quality, cage-free, organically fed, chicken eggs, the risks are dramatically reduced.

I would disregard any further information from the person from the Raiders team as they know very little about sports nutrition.
first there is no benefit to drinking raw eggs vs cooking them. consuming raw animal proteins increases the odds of illness with no benefits. you can also develop a biotin deficiency from consuming too many raw eggs. post workout you definetly don't want to ingest fats with your protein source. fats slow gastric emptying which means more time between the consumption of protein and when the amino acids are actually transported into the portal bloodstream where they can be utilized for muscle recovery.

flow forward and prepare dinner the eggs... shells and all. I feed my canines uncooked eggs out on the patio maximum Saturday mornings. With 5 canines interior the abode maximum appropriate now I usually feed 2 dozen eggs at a time (vast canines). all of them have categories of cracking and ingesting the eggs and that i stumble on it humorous to video exhibit. I feed what canines traditionally have eaten at an analogous time as residing with human beings - very just about each little thing different than the kitchen sink. Noone in my abode different than me eats leftovers ~ so as quickly as each week the canines consume despite we've not and reckoning on the quantity i could desire to opt to characteristic some oatmeal, uncooked eggs, canned mackeral or sardines (or chum) to fill out the meal. My canines additionally get some kibble ~ If I could desire to alter into incapacitated i'm no longer able to assure somebody would be attainable who's knowledgable or keen to uncooked feed. of direction, my canines think of kibble is cookies... so as that they could have some weight themes if abruptly being fed kibble on an ongoing foundation. Their popular weight loss software continues to be prey-variety uncooked.

raw eggs are some of the healtiest foods you can eat (or drink). all that stuff about Salmonella is bullshit. the only way you would get sick is if the egg had a crack in it and was sitting outside a fridge for a extended period of time.

Pure protein, a little fat from the yolks, but if you remove those then it's a completely no fat, no carb dish. It feels (and tastes)similar to slamming oysters.
