Hello... I am worried about my Chi, Yesturday I noticed a slighly hardend circular patch under her neck. It had hair covering it but she did seem to have a little hairloss there. Now it is starting to scab. I just now noticed another patch under her arm which is not scabbed. I won't be able to go to the vet until thursday...anyone else have a similar experience and know what this is??
Just some other info.....
She is on front line for fleas
She has been on the same food for a year
She is two years old and is a long haired chihuahua

could be dermatophytosis(ringworm) or just a skin infection. Without a proper diagnosis by a vet there is no way to tell what it could be

sounds like ringoworm to me
just keep her clean and dry until you get her to the vet and
wash your hands as much as you can

could be a reaction to something you need to take her to the vet. good luck to you.
