ive still got a few months, but ive got to go to meet my boyfriends parents and go to his cousins graduation in may. they live in tn and mn and were in fl so nowhere to go to get my hair done before either really.. i need fairly quick and very easy hairstyles thatll look halfway decent.. i cant stand leaving my hair down, its very straight and very thin and ends up a huge mess by the end of the day... i tried getting it long layered, that SOOO didnt work... everytime i try to curl it or something, the curls will have all come out in a few hours... and i never have been a girl to ever wear makeup or care too much about my hair, its ALWAYS up in a ponytail :0) please help. thanks

Well since the ponytail works well for you, just try a new twist on it. Pull your hair into a high ponytail right at the crown of your head. Leave some of your hair in front loose. Then loosely pull the loose hair back to be sittingon top of the ponytail and clip it in place with a cute barrette or bobby pin it. It's still a ponytail, just a little glammed up.

Only a nice person would be so worried about how they are perceived.So don't worry.
The fact that you're worried is exactly the reason you shouldn't worry.
Just go in being you,ponytail and all.
If your hair is going to make that much of a difference to them,then you're in the wrong crowd!

Grab some bobbypins and start pinning it up, try some twists or something new and cool looking. Maybe if you can afford it get your hair done by a stylist before you go. Something easy they can teach you to do.

or you may not need to since your hair is already is straight and flat.
i say insted of putting it in a pony pail, do a side pony tail.
like your hair goes on your shoulder.
it looks neat, and stays longer.
try light make up, little blush, light lip stick, and eyeliner .

try a half ponytail maybe? and if u dont like ur thin hair try a volumizing shampoo....
