I've heard about miracles happening to my friends but they say that stuff just happens to them and I've always wanted things to happen to me too. But they're always bad things. on valentine's Day my granny died and she was the only one who wasn't busy and would always play with me and keep me company. I'm not as sad as my mom but I am a bit bored and last week on Saturday I asked God if he could send me a friend. And I wanted it to be soon so I asked if a new kid could move into the empty house next door. He never came even when I waited the whole day looking out the window until 9 o' clock. i was really disappointed and angry at God. Then today a boy from San Fransisco came. Last week I wanted God to send his angel...Gabriel in particular...I won't tell you his name because a lot of kids from my school go to this site... and I don't want them to know I like him. But he hasn't noticed and I was too shy. Do you think that was the kid God sent or just some typical new kid?

And he stood out from everyone because he was the only one wearing a red jacket. And red is my granny's favorite color. I keep doubted but at the same time I tell myself that he just got here he just got here. And I don't know if God is real and if Gabriel would really come for a retarded person like me. Yeah all of you would say yes but I want to know what you think honestly.

Alright I know a lot about God and what he teaches us more than I know my own self and what I like and what I do. So just shut it about that.

God sends people into our lives for different reasons. The boy next door could be your answer from God. But be careful he could also be something that you don't need either. Keep praying and asking for more answers. They will come even if their not what you ask for there are reasons. I am sorry to hear about your Granny, I myself have lost all my grandparents. It's hard but they come to visit me in my dreams and make me smile the next day and it's seem to always be when I've been thinking about them a lot. God Bless you!
jinxmchue001 you are rude to suggest the this person is using God as a Vending Machine. Why do we pray? So that God will help us not slide us snickers!

I'm going to answer with brutal honesty, from a realist's perspective.

God didn't send you diddly squat. If he really answered your prayers, he would have sent you a friend immediately or very soon after... especially in much less time than a week.

You have taken a particular situation... something as simple as a new boy arriving... and attempted to assign any sort of coincidental significance to it that you could find to attribute it to a 'miracle' of your God. This boy isn't even your friend.

I answered a question earlier about the cause and effect fallacy. Take a look at the recent questions I've answered before this one for another explanation.

Asker, it's plain as day that you didn't read my response at all. Read it again and with better comprehension ability. I didn't place the word 'blame' anywhere in the context or the details.

you have to remember that GOD knows everything, even though we pray for something we really want if its not going to be good for us he will keep it away from us , that is where trust comes in, its not always an answer when we get what we want , sometimes the answer is not getting what we want, we have to trust that he knows whats best for us and will allow only what is best, even if is means someone has to pass away, I know its hard to understand, it dosent make sense to me sometimes, well, alot of times it dosent make sense, but we only see what goes on in our life, GOD sees what goes on in everyones life and how each person will effect us in our life, keep trusting him he wont let you down, remember we are looking at right now....but GOD is looking years into the future and planning accordingly...

I think you need to stop treating God like a vending machine. "Insert prayer, get prize" is not how He works.
