I found this card and it looks like a good deal. I am just 18 and I have never had a card. I plan to use it to build a little credit. I will buy things and then pay them off in full before the grace period is up. Advice please!!!!????

You should get a credit card to help build up your credit. I did the same thing when I turned 18. They have raised my limit a few times now. The only problem that I really see with the card you chose is that not every place will accept an American Express card. The reason for this is because American Express often charges a small amount to the store or place you purchased an item at for using that card. Many stores opt not to accept this one because of that.

It's pretty good, but you should be aware of the fact that Amex is the least accepted credit card of the major 4. You'll be able to use it some places and for building credit, that's all that matters.

Some people will tell you that carrying a balance will boost your credit score, but it's not necessary.

If they turn you down for this card due to insufficient credit history, look into cards that are targeted towards college students (if you are one). No matter what, never get a card with an annual fee. Don't sweat high interest rates, as they won't apply to you so long as you pay off your balance in full every month.

If you've never had a card, you probably wont qualify. Most people with no credit can't ge the best offers. You need to have a good score first.

Apply and see if you get it. If not research good cards that work with 0 credit.
