sometimes. on rare occasions they last out of high school.. but on the majority they never last that much long afterward. although there Are exceptions.. but you just usually don't end up marrying anyone you knew in high school.

Depends on the couple - the past that they share or more important their goals individually.
I actually had a High School sweetheart. We were together for almost five years. However, after graduating from High School I went to College in hopes to have a decent career. While he seemed to be stuck in High School; he had no job, no motivation not alone a drug problem.
We separated a few months ago. We love each other and still keep in contact, it's just at this point in our lives we can't work. But we maybe in the future, that is if he gets clean.
Hopefully that kind of answers your question.

Having a high school sweet heart is the same as having any sweetheart. Just because a person is in high school does not mean that they do not know what they are doing, or can't experience love. I know that alot of those relationships do work out. It doesn't really matter, because people as old as forty-five+ years old can find a sweeheart and it doesn't work out. But sometimes, people rush into the relationship and that never works.

Mine has so far. My boyfriend and I have been dating since junior year, we are now 22 and still going strong. Most don't work out though, but don't let that discourage you. Relationships don't just happen, you have to make them work, especially after you've been together a long time. I think it's really sweet when high school sweethearts get married!!

They can sometimes.. Not always. It just depends on the love that two people feel for each other. My Boyfriends parents have been together since they were 15 and 16 and now they are in their 50's. So it can work. It's just hard to make it work.

sometimes, but not very often. my mom and dad first met when mom was 15 and dad was 21. they did not go to school with each other, but after 9 months they realized they loved each other, so they got married. now, my mom is 54 and my dad is 61.. 40 years they have been together.. they still love each other with all their heart.. i think that what they have is so special. i wish that someday i might have a relationship with someone like that. =D

I dont think so. Maybe some who are truely meant to be together. People change SO MUCH from the time they are 15 until they are 25, even at 35 and 45 you are always changing.
