walk by her. compliment her. talk with her. and then she will definately notice u.

You could:
- light your hair on fire.
- rub your head with a cheese grater while chewing on tin foil. The faces you'll make will surely catch her eye
- don't bathe for a couple weeks, then sit real close to her. She'll notice you
- fart loudly in her presence
- stick your finger in her ear, remove wax, eat it
Oh, wait. I just read the rest of the question -- what "should" you do? Well, I guess that not many of the above are things you should do. I'll have to think on this.
