It wasn't so recently but when my son was potty training he barged into the bathroom while I was in there and told me how proud he was of me for pooping on the potty while staring into the bowl!

I am a mother of three. 5 yr old girl, and a 3 yr old and a 10 month old boy. Every day I sit back and watch them, listen to them role play, pick up on what they are learning from me. I love night time, because this is when we all cuddle on the bed, and my older ones talk about their day, try to understand the world and what has happened today. Every day I am thank full for their health, their bright minds and their amazing capacity to love me and forgive me all of my flaws. What warmed my heart today.......every hug, every "I love you mommy", every hysterical laugh because the baby " farted, or peed or spit his food at me"....or all those bodily function things that toddlers find so fascinating. And tonight, the trusting, peace full sleep they drift off to....In other words, just realizing every day that I am a mom, I am someones world that warms my heart.

Thank you for the question.

My 19 month old normally plays in her crib for awhile when she wakes up in the morning or after a nap as she has many toys that sleep with her. Today, she didn't hear the door open and I leaned over her crib to give her a kiss as she was sitting the opposite direction. She said "Momma!" really loud. I think I scared her, but it's the first time that she actually called me that and not Ma.......Ma!

Lately my 18 month old has been waiting in our big bay window for me to get home from work. As soon as he sees my car round the cornner he starts to wave and has a huge smile on his face. He keeps waving and smiling until I get out of the car. How can you not love coming home to that. It's so nice to have someone so happy to see me!

I'm 22 weeks pregnant and my 12 month old just started walking. Today my back was hurting because I'm trying to get everything ready for his big party this weekend. I was slumped on the couch and he came over and started patting my back, put his arm around me and laid his head on my shoulder. What a sweetie!

When my son was about 1, I was rocking him and singing to him. Well he takes his pacifier out of his mouth and pops it into mine. Well I gave it back to him and started rocking again. Just as soon as I started singing again, he looked up at me and put the "stopper" back into my mouth........I took the hint the second time and quit. Everyday since then (4 yrs ago) has been such a joy just to sit back and watch the things he comes up with. He keeps me laughing.

My 2 year old niece was on her hands and knees cleaning up the "big mess" she made - she spilled her juice on the floor. So she had a hand towel wiping away (more like spreading it around). Well she felt her knee in the juice getting wet so she picked up her leg and put it on the couch. Then she continued wiping with both hands on the floor one foot on the floor and one ****** up on the couch. It was so funny!

My 17-month old has learned to open the refridgerator. Today when I was talking to husband I noticed he was sitting IN the fridge holding a bottle of creamy cesar! Needless to say, right after naptime we went to Babies R' Us to get a fridge lock. Problem solved. It sooooooo didn't make me smile though.

This JUST happened... my just turned 3 year old daughter still needs help wiping after she goes #2 (after every time she goes she screams from the pot "mooooommy come see your surprise!!!!!! lol), so I go in to help her and she sneezes right on my head and then giggles like a maniac!

Who woulda thought that having kids would completely numb you to otherwise gross things such as wiping a bum or getting sneezed on LOL.
