I am 47, good health and take take of myself. I act and look much younger than I am. I have been dating a 30 year old woman for a little over a month now. We get along great, conversation is good as well as the physical connection. She is divorced and says I make her feel special. I really care about her and want some advice on how to proceed or whether most women out there around 30ish think I am way too old for her. What do you think?

I am married to an older man....12 years. The only time ppl make it weird is when we are in that age where she is 30 something and you are 50 something.....all ppl see is the 20 year difference....not the actual difference in your age. I will soon be turning 40, and so it will not sound so bad. But be prepared to hear..."man you robbed the cradle"...she needs to come up with some really good 1 liners to this. I say....Yep best cradle he ever robbed. But we don't care what other think....we know that we love each other, and want to be together.....So don't worry about it....and enjoy one another company. don't worry about other ppl.

What matters is the way you feel for each other. You will get negative feedback for a lot of things you choose in your life.. If you are both happy, then who cares what others think. It's not like she is underage, or hasn't experienced trials in life. She obviously knows what she wants and maybe that makes others her age who are so pessimistic about the situation a little jealous and uneasy about their own lives! Good luck!

if you both get along and like each other than whats the problem, age shouldn't matter you are both adults and she is 30 not 20 don't worry about the age difference just be happy and don't let nobody tell you otherwise.

yes its fine. I personally feel anything greater than 10 years presents certain issues, but all relationships have certain issues. We have a 9 year gap, and it works great for us. Although I may never get the white rapper show which she seems to love!

Hopefully she wants you.....

Behind every rich white man, is a b-e-a-utiful young woman after his fortune....j/k

There is definitley nothing wrong with dating a woman who is 17 years younger than yourself, unless you are my age. I'd be dating a 1 year old, and that's just R-O-N-G rong!!!

Age is no barrier to love. My lover, she has the same age difference as your situation and I am older than you. We care for each other and trust each other and the bed nearly catches on fire each time we are together.

Generation apart usually doesn't work too many differences she'll get bored eventually and move on.Or you'll want to play the father and she won't listen.

There's nothing morally or ethically wrong with it. It just doesn't seem practical. At least not for a long term, serious relationship.
