Next time you change her litter, sprinkle a box of baking soda at the bottom, and then put the cat litter over it. Maybe that'll help.

Nothing will control odor like old fashion clay litter (no perfumes)that is scooped daily and dumped weekly. Sorry clumping litter is convenient but just does not work the same. I clean 37 litter boxes a day for 10 years and have tried everything. I am often interview on TV news show like "What do the experts use".
One thing that will help is if you remove the door off the cover of the litter box that is traping the moisture and stoping it from getting dry. Wet box = bacteria and horrible smell.

I have two cats who are totally house cats. The only cat litter that I will ever use or recommend is Fresh Step Scoopable with odor eliminating carbon. I've tried all the other name brands, and none of them work anywhere near as well. It's a bit more pricey than others, but believe me, it is well worth it. I buy the 28lb. bucket, and it lasts for at least a month and a half. I scoop the litter box out usually twice a day. My house has never smelled like cats.

Like mentioned already, I put about 1/4" baking soda on the bottom of the litter pan. This really, really helps. I have two cats and I can't smell the litter box for about a week. As far as which brand of litter is best, I think they are all fairly similar, but scoop-able is definitely best.

My mom has 4 cats now, she uses the special kitty clumping cat litter from wal-mart. I never notice any smells coming from it, though she cleans it out about twice a day. Sometimes I know she put some arm and hammer deodorizer (I think that's what it is) in it once in a while. She had to buy a different kind one week because they were out of the usual stuff she gets and that stuff makes the cats smell like a guys shaving cream which is kind of weird to smell a cat that smells like that....Good luck hope this helps....

I use a natural kitty litter such as Swheat or 'World's Best' as well as Arm & Hammer baking soda Cat Litter supplement. Both litters are clump type as well as flushable. I actually clean my box in the AM but have been known to clean it more often if necessary. Also, if the area has poor air circulation, you may want to run a fan; ours is in a bathroom so we run the exhaust fan to pull out odors.

From experience trying at least 4 different brands, The ONLY band I have tried and won amazing is Scoop Away. Because the litter is very fine almost like sand so it "sticks" easier to the feces that chucking rocks like tidy cats or Fresh Step.

Fresh Step Clay cat litter. it's made with a odor control and never leaves a (strong) odor as long as you clean it out daily. I've used it for nearly 3 years and it works great for my 2 male/female kitties.
P.S. unfortunatly, you're going to have some odor no matter what. I tend to keep a can of Lysol in the bathroom where the litterbox stays.
=^-^= Good Luck =^-^=

One of the problems cats have is that they stink. I know I HAVE 3. anyhow the best thing you can do is get a litter called feline pine, and mix a box of baking soda in, and also spray it with fa-breeze whenever you go in there yourself. feline pine is great it gets rid of all that ammonia pee smell those little poof balls make. you can look it up on line . hope it helps you. I have tried everything litter wise and this I found to be the best. Good luck.http://www.naturesearth.com/
