Honda Civic, Late 90s Nissan Maxima, Honda Accord, Subaru Forester, or Acura TSX. Stay away from Corollas and VWs - too many problems.

i own a repair shop,and i think what you need to look at is a good Nissan sentra the newer ones look and drive really good,and have the lowest maintenance required on any car,and they are very dependable also,i own a one of them and its the best for non repair that i own,these cars just last forever if taken good care of,but if you get a chance look at one and drive it they,ll surprise you the way they run and drive,and handle,good luck i hope this help,s.
