Any objective proof would be sufficient. Any repeatable event which with the same input produces the same result and can be demonstrated to have been performed by a non-corporate entity.
It could be as simple as a dialogue which could be witnessed and repeated and experienced by anyone regardless of belief.
For example, if a box were discovered within which you could place a piece of paper with any question you like and without any external input an answer would appear on the paper as a result of Gods intervention this would constitute proof of at least a non-corporeal intelligence. This would not tell you the nature of the intelligence but I am sure that other ways could be found for that.

I assume by "God" you mean Yahweh, the God of Abraham? Are you serious? It ain't ever going to happen. Thank goodness too, because that fictional character is not a loving god.
But if you really want to know, it would require not just me but several thousand independent people all observing some acts that clearly defy known laws of physics, and then he would have to offer some kind of explanation for 1) his (total lack of) behavior the last few hundred years (since reliable historical records have been available), and 2) why he left such an unbelievable document as the only evidence for his existence.

Do I also have to believe in virgin birth, creationism, the vile crap in the old testament is the direct word of God, not the opinions and laws of Jewish bronze age men,
the concept that a 'sin is a sin', That jesus was a human sacrifice, essentially, God sent himself down as an offering....to himself?
If I don't have to believe all that, I'll be sound as a pound, yeah baby.
Oh, but again, if there were a God, especially one who created EVERYTHING just to test 'us' the most special creation in the universe phthsh.. He would make himself REALLY obvious to us..
He'd be a savior and step in while children are being neglected, near death, beaten mercilessly and abused, raped and murdered, he never does.
There is no God.

How about the total inialation of all these people who play God and use the Hypocritical bible as an excuse to biasedly ruin other peoples' lives without just cause?!
-Love thy Neighbor, but use "and Eye for an Eye"!
-Men should keep their hair short, but Jesus had long hair!
-Every first born child shall be sacrificed, even though some pharoh is the one who was guilty!
-Men should sacrifice thy daughter into slavery...!
The bible, like the people who call themselves Christian is full of contradiction, fiction, and unbelievable stories. It really is amazing how laws and democracy can be based on such unsubstantiated crap that can be used by pulling various versus by various top officials to biasedly punish any particular people or person at their discretion!!

A truly omnipotent god would have no need for such crude displays as miracles. If I saw someone walk on water, I would think it more likely to be a hallucination or a trick than a miracle. But a god could simply make me believe. He could manipulate my brain to remove my need for evidence in this issue. He could turn me into another blind fundamentalist.

Nothing, a real atheist does not believe in God but in other theories. Even a miracle or somthing special happening to me would not change my mind. You believe or you do not. If the atheist would start thinking of what proof there could be to change his mind, he would not be an atheist anymore.

Dude....I appreciate your effort.....but when they don't believe in something in the first place, nor comprehend the mental level that it takes, you can't change them. For I use to be one and not until the mental level and capacity came to me, was I able to grasp it all and understand the message.
Like the book says....many are foolish on purpose and others are blind on purpose. Plus they say they have read the book, etc but if they had....then they would realize the book says that those that do not believe, will not see the message nor understand the book.
perfect example.....Revelation 1. Most assume this is talking about the 7 churches....when in reality its speaking about you and your life, your 7 trials. But for those that don't understand, they read it as actual churches in asia, now a day turkey.

What is wrong with eradication of world hunger? That's a God I could get behind and believe in! Anything less isn't worthy of a moment of thought.
You're downplaying of eliminating world hunger as a goal doesn't say very much good about you, by the way. It's one of the most disturbing and grief-inducing problems that human beings face.

Once in a chat room I proposed a simple test for a god . Have God deliver takeout chicken within the next half hour. A simple test any high school student could perform. The chicken never came.

Some evidence that could only point to a god that would pass peer review and be published in a scientific journal.
I haven't the slightest idea what that would be. You guys have this whole thing set up so that it is a moving target so that it is impossible to disprove. It is your hypothesis, so if you want it to be accepted you need to figure out how to prove it.
