Get a copy of AVG Anti-Virus. It does all the things that Norton does but doesn't slow down your computer as much and is cheaper. I've used it for about a year now and have had no problems. Download it at http://www5.grisoft.com/doc/2213/us/crp/0
Hope you like it if you decide to go with it. Alot of people use it.

Best programs for a good running pc and are free the first two get all the add ware when you use them one at a time. They caught a key logger first time I used them. The last one on the list is my favorite cleans all the junk files and a whole lot more .This and yahoo security suit are all I use to keep my pc happy.Defrag and scandisk also.

If you have lots, it might be better to reformat your computer and wipe out everything. It seems like the virus software can't keep up with the viruses- no matter how good it is!

I have tried AVG but find that AVAST is much easier (in regard to prevention of future virus') You will find it with a Google search

when I first got it, it found 2 viruses that norton missed.
