I think that never is too harsh of a word to use there, but it seems to be a trend love ends not in friendship. When two people love a connection is made, and when broken an emptiness is created. This lack of connection between the two creates an akward vibe, a rift between the two, usually redefining the relationship as an acquaintanceship.
There are, however, loves that end amiably, or that are so deep that one cannot help from being a friend to the other.

That quote is debatable because it really depends on what your interpretation of love is. I fyou think love is between a boyfriend and a girlfriend, then it won't really be known as friendship. I don't agree with it. Of course you can love your friends. A couple can have a friendship or a relationship; it's just a closer bond.

I think it depends on the people you interact with and the person you are. In some cases it can be true and others not. Personally I have not had a Love -> friendship that has ever worked for to long. It is usually to hard and complicates things.

I think ... the definition of love is broad enough to be applied in either case and therefore the answer could easily be love can be found in friendship though it may well not always end in a romantic relationship.

If it happens to you alot then why don't you believe it? :P
To be honest though, I am not sure I understand the second part. Is it saying that your love can't end in friendship? Well, most marriages don't end in great friendships so I guess that makes sense. I don't know.
Have a great night.

I agree, sort of. A relationship based on love cannot simply become a relationship based on friendship. In order to make the transition, the original relationship will need to be abandoned and new one redefined with new expectations and boundaries.

of course love can end in friendship too.(with understanding between both) . true love is being happy for one another. so even if things don't work out between the two- they will still be friends and continue wishing well for their former love !

Very true.
And along the same lines,
there's nothing like marriage
to bust up a good friendship.
