Hair is a dead bi-product of your body. It is keratinized protein. Once this protein structure has been excessively damaged with either heat or chemicals there is little in the way of a product that can restore it. If the damage is minimal, try a product called CAT protein treatment by Redken. This product line has been formulated to actually penetrate the hair shaft to help rebuild the polypeptide chains that have been broken. Most other product lines simply sit on the surface and give a temporary fix by soothing the cuticle layer. I suggest a good haircut and a change in whatever you are doing...heatwise or chemicalwise to damage it. Good luck.

Well, you may have to trim off the split ends or it won't get better. I had to get 2 inches cut off and I wanted to cry! But it's just hair, it grows back. But after you trim it, try Infusium 23. I've dyed my hair so many times and messed it up with straighteners and blow dryers but it always fixed it.
Also, Dove has a new line of shampoos and conditioners for badly damaged hair. It's in a Navy Blue bottle at Wal-Mart. Fruiticious works good too. It's in a neon green bottle.

There is a product by Suave called Humectant conditioner that I use. You only have to use it about every 3 or 4 days. Another old remedy is warm olive oil. You work this into your hair and cover with a hot towel and leave on for 15 min. or so. Then shampoo with your normal shampoo. It helps restore some of your natural oils. Good luck.

Use hair products, like deep conditioners and leave-in conditioners with the two protein or ldl cholesterol in them. A extra organic way is to apply mayonnaise(smells disgusting, yet is packed with ldl cholesterol and effects are well worth it), and wrap it in foil. Then leave it on for a a million/2 hour, or longer, counting on how broken that's. Do it a minimum of as quickly as each and every week. yet once you extremely will not be able to stand the scent of mayonnaise, then pass to Sally's splendor grant and seek for some ldl cholesterol and protein cures there. additionally mutually as you're there, seek for a "Hair, dermis, and Nails" nutrition. do not ignore to trim your cut up ends off whenever you have em'. And in basic terms blow dry once you extremely desire to (like once you're in a hurry for artwork/college).

It is a myth that you have to trim your hair to make it grow. I condition my ends with pure coconut oil; very inexpensive.
To make hair grow: take 2 bls. apple cider vinegar in a glass of water 3 x day. Gets rid of dandruff, cure acne, lose weight. Has 93 vitamins and minerals. Read the apple cider vinegar cures website.

Do you use a straightner? My stylist says they fry your hair, especially if you have color. Just use a blowdryer and a large round brush to style your hair. Dry section by section.

Maybe you are over-conditioning it which can cause product build up that will make your hair look dry and dull.
