Practice until you know the part perfect. Then perform your part for your parents, brothers and sisters, and friends. If one of them says something discourageing , just ignore it and listen to the encouraging audience.
Part of being confident is to know your part perfectly.

Well I am kinda on the other side of this. I am an independent film director and I have to tell people they don’t get the part more often then not. It seems to me, the people with the most confidence are the ones that just be themselves, and don’t really get nervous, or embarrassed easily. If you do get nervous or embarrassed easily then acting probably isn’t your thing.
Know your lines. I can’t tell you how many people forget their lines.
Sometimes not getting parts is a better thing because now you know what not to do, and it will make you try that much harder next time.

The old advice works here. I have done tons of auditions, recitals, concerts... and I'm nervous every time. But, I tell myself. The worst that could happen is that I will fail.
You might not hear a lot of people say that but it's true. The worst that can happen is that you'll fail. Does that mean the world will end? Does that mean your life is over? No, it means you are embarrassed and red-faced but you live to fight another day.
Now, telling yourself that doesn't mean you prepare TO fail. It means you go in with a different mindset. You don't go in scared and worried about failure. You go in ready to get down to business.
And, in the end, you need to be in a place where you go into an audition and get down to business.

One of the best ways you can get more confidence with auditions is simply to, audition. Audition for shows you know you can't be in. There is no pressure, and you have the benefit of the experience.
I know that won't help you with this audition, but remember it in the future.

Through success. Try something only a little challenging and do your best at it. When you succeed with that, try something a little harder and keep going with progressively more difficult or wider ranging goals. Every time you win, pat yourself on the back. Every time you fail figure out why and try again.
As your successes and achievements grow, so will your confidence.

act like you are the most confident and best performer, tell yourself that you will get the part you want...convince yourself you'll get it!!!
act like you don't give a s**t what anyone thinks of you, be bold and brash, march up there and do your stuff.... regardless of how you feel inside!!!!
Be positive, if you think you can you can, if you think you can't ...you're right!!!!!
Swan out there as if it's the most natural thing in the world, let your feet do the kicking, below the water...where no one will notice.
xxxxxx good luck!!!!!!!!!

Start by believing in yourself! Cheer yourself on. Pep yourself up. Start by congratulating yourself on having the nerve to audition. Practice your lines in front of your family. Go ahead now, you can do it! Now, get on out there and show them what you're made of. You Go Girl!

BE YOURSELF!...always think positive. Act like your alone (although thats hard to imagine)...but anyway...in a scene, ask yourself! for example: If your scene is dramatic, ask yourself "How would I react if this is REAL and this is HAPPENING TO ME?"...or those kind of questions. Put your self into the character's shoes. And ignore the NEGATIVES.!

You will get the part, unless you're up against somebody like Judy Garland. Odds are you aren't, and your obvious fierce determination will carry you through. Actually I pity any girl who is up against you.
