I'm looking for a classy and elegant place to hold a small wedding and reception. I would prefer a place that will provide dinner. Again this is for a small wedding of 30 people. Even though its small I want something that is memorable Any ideas

Well, I could actually recommend some place in NYC if I knew for a fact that you were in the area. But since I don't know where you live, my advice is: check out some restaurants in your area. see if they have private rooms for parties. Also, check with some hotels in your area too. Good luck!

My wife and I were wed at a Victorian Bed and Breakfast that had a reception room.
A lot of botanical gardens have weddings and reception rooms too.
It would definitely help to know what area you were asking about :)

My sister got married at a small art gallery by the lake. You could search for anything similar.The reception was done indoors and we took beautiful photographs overlooking the lake. You could also have it at night, where you can hang up fairy lights all over for a fairy-tale wedding.. =)

look in your local hotels that is your best bet but go with hotels you have heard of before {Hilton,HolidayInn} most hotels like that have packages for people who want to have their wedding reception in there available halls and they serve dinner and some even provide a wedding cake.

most museums offer reception areas, and often have deals with caterers. check your local museums.
also check your local historical society, they might have some pretty good ideas, and they love that kind of thing
