climbing stairs, doing several reps, and a stairmaster, or the treadmill, works wonders, also jogging helps.

Do you know how to skate? Ice or roller. It hits those glutes really well. Hula - yes, hula, is the most fantastic dance-ercise ever. It gets EVERYTHING on the lower body as well as toning your arms and upper body. It firms and trims and is LOTS of fun. Do 15 to 30 minutes morning and evening and you won't believe how great you'll look! A regular class at the Y or where ever is nice, but not mandatory..even watching old films will keep you going. Best wishes

Squats and lunges (they don't require equipment). Try three reps of 15 each. There's also another exercise where you lay on your back and bend your knees with your feet flat on the ground, at about shoulder length apart and raise your butt into the air (leaving your head, neck and shoulders on the ground). There are different variations of this, but the easiest is to squeeze your butt and release, never allowing your bottom to touch the floor. Again, do 3 reps of 15 and you can do them double-time.

When we lose weight, there is no way to specifically burn fat from one part of the body. Doing situps won't burn the fat that is covering your abs and doing tricep extensions won't get rid of the fat that is covering your triceps. The only thing you can do is lose weight all around and eventually the problem area will also improve.
