I want to move the icons into a sort of frame around my monitor, instead of all in the left, but when I move them, they slide back.

Obviously there is some sort of setting that makes them jump back into the set order. How can I change it?

Right click anywhere on the desktop that is free of icons. Under that menu go to "Arrange Icons by". Under that menu there is an "align to grid" option.

Uncheck that option and there you go.

Hi,

1. Right click on a empty space in desktop

your best option-click everywhere on your exhibit show, distinctive than on the icons. % "set up Icons by way of" and uncheck "motorcar set up". in case you desire your icons no longer aligned with one yet yet another as quickly as you re-set up them, uncheck "Align to Grid". after that, you should surely drag-and-drop the icons everywhere on your computer. ^^
