i had ares 1.9.3 before upgrading to ares galaxy. the older version worked perfectly, but now for some reason i cant download any files. i have run searches and tried downloading files, but on the transfer tab ALL the files are on "searching" and they just stay like that. nothing is downloading at all. and if i try to cancel them, nothing happens. can somebody help please?

I recommended Ares to a friend, he was unable to download stuff and he has other problems with that version , I don't remmember what version was, but that was a problem, I unistalled the software from his computer and installed a better version that I now, and works Very good. I recommend to you this version- Ares 2.0.0.3020- *****

Honestly, i don't know much about ares galaxy so i wont really be able to help you there. But if you want a fabulous alternative, e-mule it is. E-mule is fast and good and has all the latest songs and videos and whatever else you need. Also the chances of a virus coming through from E-mule are slim. I have tried everything from Ares Galaxy to Lime wire to all the other crap. By far E-mule is THE best.
