I am a Tax Preparer in Texas and unless the Bankruptcy Court specifies that any tax refunds must become part of the "bankruptcy estate" and be made available to the creditors, the answer is yes, you will still receive a tax refund in 2008 if you are entitled to one and the bankruptcy is "discharged" (completed) in 2007.

i just went through this in houston call attorney
sheila deason she is verry good if the law is still the same any thing over 1000 you have to turn over to the courts
