I do love him for him, not for what he makes, cause it's not alot. Problem is he already has a girlfriend. Infact I asked him to go with me to prom and he said no because of our 6 year age difference. I want him to like me not as the friend but as the girlfriend. I just don't think he likes me because of the way I look.

I don't care if the man works at a supermarket or for a fortune 500 company. a mans job does not make him who he is. why do you think alot of women who are married to men that make alot of money complain? its because alot of these men work lots of hrs and hardly have time for the family. If a man can help support his family and still have time for family time, i don't care what he does for a living. while having not to worry about how to pay the bills is nice, money is not everything.

No offense but, a shallow person would go for the money first and then, once that was secure, look for the love. Tell me though, do you want happiness in your relationship, just give it time and your heart will lead you to the better man and you won't ever regret it.
Once a man said that an individual is really three people. One being the person that he or she wants others to see him or her as, the second being, the person that others do see him or her as, and the third being, the person he or she really is. To find that real person, one must search the heart of that person.

Money doesnt buy happiness but it sure helps, but if you you think you like the computer science guy more and that he has more potential for love, go with him. In the end love will matter a lot more then money. I have seen many people marry for money, and in the end they either get divorced, or are in an unhappy relationship.

Well, if you need help answering this questions I feel sorry for the computer science guy. Also, engineering doesn't also mean they have job security and computer science can be as lutrative. It just all depends on the company and the project assigned.

It doesn't matter in terms of salary. Engineer or CS is the same range of salary, and they are likely to be similar type of guys. Go for the one you like. Engineers don't necessarily make a lot of money anyway, so it wound't qualify as realtionship "for money". "For money" is when you're dating a millionaire.

Go for the love. If you go for the money and the money disappears you're left with nothing. Always choose love my dear.
