No you dont have issues! You're just a girl who likes to keep herself up and likes to look nice, there's nothing wrong with that! If you went out everyday with your hair frizzy she probably would say something to, so in this case you can't win for losing so just keep it up and keep looking good with ur hair flat ironed! Oh by the way, i don't go anywhere without my hair fixed either and if it's out it has to be straightened...HAS to be!

The problem you have would be low self esteem or a need for validation. If you can't go out completely natural...no makeup, un perfect hair...there is obviously an issue there. Take a look at that. What would happen if you went out with your hair wavy and a little frizzy (by the way, flat ironing everyday will only make the frizziness worse)? Are you afraid people would talk about you, or that a guy might think you aren't hot enough? I definitly see you have some self esteem issues, but a lot of girls your age do.
You should try a book called Curly Girl...its about embracing your curls/wave. Only use organic shampoos. No conditioners. Put a light gel in your hair, scrunch it, wrap in a towl to dry. You'll get lovely frizz free waves and curls.
Be yourself!! And like I said, take a look at WHY you feel the need to always be made up, and address that :)

No, you're just a typical teenager and there's nothing wrong with that. My sister is the same way in that she flat irons every day. Although she's rarely late to do it. My hair is similar to yours. It's wavy and frizzy. When I'm running short on time, I use curling serums and gels and scrunch it. Just remember to leave it alone after it dries or you'll get a frizzy mess.
When I have the time I do flat iron it like you, but I save that for special occaisons and going out, not for daily life simply because it takes so much time. Have you througt how you would look with curly hair, I've found I love it and it's so much easier than straightening every day.
You might try some different products as well to help with the whole time thing. I like http://www.makeupalley.com for reviews.

There are some girls that will not be seen in public without makeup. You're just the girl that won't go out in public without flat ironing her hair. Could you try using different products for your hair? Instead of flat ironing it everyday. Try ponytails some days or a bun.
If you don't want your mom to yell at you then get up earlier to start straitening your hair.
But then again why are you so unhappy with your hair? Ask yourself why you are so bothered that people see your hair naturally. I bet your hair is not as bad as you think.

No you don't have issues...almost every girl is self concious about her hair. It shows you have some pride in how you look at least. Im the same way. My moms always like, blah blah blah..why do you always need make up...why do you always need to go out with your hair done..whats wrong with you..why do you always have to have designer clothes.
Its not going to damage your hair. Ive been doing it for years...just be sure to put in some kind of straightening or flat ironing cream ... the worst it can do is dry out your hair a little..can be fixed with conditioning and its not even that big of a problem anyway!

You have a bad case of being a teenager, which is not usually fatal.
Don't get too revved up about this stuff. If ironing your hair helps your self-confidence, then do it. If you damage your hair, it will eventually grow out. Maybe you should get up 15-20 minutes earlier so you have time to iron your hair; then you can get your buns to school on time and you don't hurt your chances to get a decent education.
I used to have to iron my roomie's hair in college. Then she would sit around twisting hanks of it and burning the split ends off with a candle (really stinks!). Fashion is a harsh mistress, but eventually my roomie found other, more important things to think about.
I hope this is the worst problem you have to deal with for your whole life!
P.S. Don't set yourself on fire with the candle thing! What was I thinking, to tell you about that...?

I think you might be overreacting because wavy hair is nice, yours might not be as scary-frizzy as you think it is. I don't think you're crazy, though. Your mom probably just finds it annoying and thinks you're making a big deal out of nothing. The kids who say "what's wrong with your hair" just aren't used to your natural hair. Maybe a couple days a week you could give your hair a break... you'd get used to it wavy (or just put it in a messy bun), your hair will be healthier, and your mom might be happier. You're not crazy, though... you just care about how you look.

I flat iron before I go out. My hair has some wave and frizz if I don't. If I'm just running to the store and back I don't. I just like to look good and when you look good you feel good. I don't see anything wrong with it. Some of us just care about our appearance more than others. Girl your fine iron on!!!!

I think you're a typical teenage girl. Unfortunately, young women these days are so brainwashed to think that they have to look like they stepped off the cover of a magazine, it's a wonder any of you set foot outside the house. I'm glad I was a teenager 30 years ago and not now....
But honestly....you SHOULD try to develop self-esteem that's not based on your looks so that you don't feel like you have to have perfect hair to go out in public. Don't buy into the hype!

I think you just have some issues withyour slef consionce. but hey to each his own or in your case her own. Anyway maybe you should try styles that would work with wavy hair they are out there and they do have cures for frizziness go to a beuty supply store like Sallys. you could also use a lil bit of baby oil.
