My former boyfriend was picked up and taking to jail on a bunch of unpaid parking tickets. He called me out of the clear blue and asked if I could bail him out of jail. I said I would check my finances and get back with him. He seems to remember when my payday is and knows I am able to do this for him. I don't really want to do it except for the fact that my sister is best friends with his baby sister and my sister feels as if this will put a strain on her and his sisters relationship if I don't help him. I seem to be the only one of his friends or family willing to help. What should I do?

Do not take his phone calls. What on earth makes you think you are under any obligation to bail him out for being a criminal? He could jump bail. If your sister wants to waste her money let her.

Hello? He's using you. Don't help the rat out. There's a reason he is in jail. He's a scum bag. If you help this tard out he's only going to get into more trouble and ask you again to bail his *** out. Maybe there's a reason no one in his family is willing to help him. They can see through his BS.

Change your number. Stop taking his calls. Avoid him like the plague. If he gets aggressive, contact a lawyer or file for a restraining order.

Don't attempt to be nice. It never works with guys like this.

If you knew you'd never see the money again, would you do it?

If not, then don't do it, because you probably won't the cash.

Basically, you're being asked to pay his parking tickets for him.
