i wouldnt drink a redbull before just because of the sugar crash it will give you and might take effect on your test. but i wouldnt drink one during the test either just because it will give you so much energy and you will possibly not pay enough attention on the questions.
just eat food that has fiber (oatmeal, apples, whole grain bread) and some juice
good luck!

When you drink Red Bull before a test, you get hyper and you feel like moving a lot. I wouldn't recommend having a red bull before a test because it doesn't let your brain run properly because your whole body is hyper and your nervous system is affected by this. It's better to have a good 8 hours of sleep and a good breakfast(cereal is recommended) is better for you. Try to make the sacrifice of sleeping 8 hours during the night. At least do it when you have a test or something important that you have to do the next day. Good luck!

The answer depends on how often you drink caffeinated beverages. If you don't do it often, don't do it before a test. If you do have at least a cup of coffee every morning I would go for it. There was one study that was performed on people who drank coffee regularly; they found by PET scanning (a fancy MRI that measures brain activity) that a coffee drinkers brain literally lights up with activity when they have their first cup. Also Red Bull has some decent vitamins in it as well... On that note, I tend to start taking multivitamins several days before a test and make sure I have a good breakfast (i.e. eggs toast and juice) this will give you a good balance of carbohydrates and protein to keep your mind strong and fend off hunger through the test.

You should eat a good breakfast. If there's time, toast and bacon. They make ready-made bacon. A glass of orange juice, or just water. Red Bull won't help you. You just have to be in the mindset that you've already aced the test, and you will. Also, supposedly, Red Bull causes damage to the liver or kidneys. I can't remember. You'd be better of with some soda varient. Good luck!

Red Bull is full of caffeine, and it is NOT a smart idea to add any chemicals to your body when you need to think.

Drink the stuff after the test.

Test Tip:
STUDY, get full nights sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, STUDY, and take few deep breaths just before the test to calm down.

Here's my suggestion. Eat some sort of food to get your brain working. I don't think Red Bull will work but you can try if you want. Usually I prefer foods more/other than drinks.

Not sure. I read somewhere recently that caffine aids in learning though it's usually bad for the heart. If Red Bull contains caffine, maybe you should drink it before or while studying for a test.

Why sure if you are used to it already. Not much difference from drinking a strong coffee. On the other hand, if you aren't used to it, don't experiment on the day of the test.

Eat a banana. It's brain food.
