There is nothing wrong with being Muslim. People are ignorant. They hear Muslim and think terrorist but only because ever since Sept 11th, the government has managed to racially profile Muslims in the most unacceptable way, through manipulation of their power and trust that the American people have in them. They have told us that every Muslim is a terrorist and as a country, we look to our government to tell us the truth and keep us safe. It is true that there are some extremest, some Muslims who do want to harm us, but there are so many good Muslim-American citizens who provide a vital part of our countries economy. America is a melting pot, land of the free, and as a country we need to stand up and recognize that not everything the news or government tells us is the truth. We are all an important part of America. No matter how young or old, no matter your race or religion!

It is wrong to make fun of people - for their religion, race, sexual preference, hair color, etc. It's wrong to make fun of people.
You say that people call you an Iraqian terrorist. Are you? If not, then tell them, and if they persist, ignore their ignorant butts.
But to the crux of the question - What's wrong with being a Muslim? Since I am a Christian (that means a follower of Jesus Christ - believing what He said to be true), I will answer from that perspective.
Jesus is the son of God. Islam teaches that He is not. Jesus died on the cross to pay for our sins - we are not capable of being perfect, which is the requirement to go and be in God's presence - so we need His payment. Islam teaches that Jesus is not the Messiah. Jesus said that He is the ONLY way to God. Islam teaches that He is not the way.
Following the teachings of Islam, a person will not accept Jesus Christ as their lord and savior - that will ultimately result in spending all of eternity apart from God. That's what's wrong with being a Muslim, as well as following the teachings of ANY religion.
Please note that from a Christian perspective, you and I are actually on the same team. I don't mean as a Christian and a Muslim. I mean as two humans, placed on this earth, seeking God's will and plan and purpose in our lives. The start of that is to find Him and accept His son, Jesus Christ as our savior. Satan is hard at work trying to prevent that - and uses some pretty good tactics to keep us at each other's throats too.
He uses this same tactic to cause divorce. Satan convinces a husband and a wife that they are each other's enemy - the reality is that they are The Team. When there is a problem, they need to pull together and fight the outside intruder (satan) as a team, with the goal being a happy, long marriage (that was God's plan all along).

There is nothing wrong with you is just that people (especially in USA) don't like different people, the thing is that with the September 11, 2001 people there is afraid to Muslim, and they rejected them because they really don't know anything about Islam just what they hear in the news and in the paper and believe me there is nothing good about Muslims or their countries in those papers or news, because they said that Muslims doesn't have free will like the others religions. And because Al-Qaeda is from a Muslim country all the people believe that all muslims are like Al-Qaeda.

Why would you be wrong for your belief. Believe what you want...i am catholic and i remember in one of my college english courses i had a person sit and belittle my faith during discussions, however from that i took it as an opportunity to learn more about my faith and become deeper within it. Maybe you shoud do the same. And don't worry about people calling you a terrorist...it is not worth your time getting mad about, you can't help or do anything about anyone elses views, remember middle eastern arn't the only terrorist in the world, look at russia ireland, and hell even the US, there are plenty of white terrorists too.

it's not right to call you an Iraqi-terrorist, but sorry, I'm not muslim so I can't honestly say I agree with muslim beliefs.
we know (or most people do) you're not all a bunch of terrorists.
but no offense, but you think it's hard being muslim? muslims really only got a bad rep in modern society when some people went too far. Try having to explain that you have to live purely when most of the people areound you dismiss you as an idiot or even question your personal morals.

There is nothing wrong in being a Muslim. Blame your own fellow Muslims who use their religion to kill others. They even fight amongst themshelves. Who wouldn't doubt whether you are good or bad. The world is in a state of confusion and fear. You are never wrong. Till the day terrorism stops..expect more taunting.
By the way..I'll pray for you... God bless you.

There's nothing wrong with being muslim. People making fun of you for your reace and/or religion is considered rascism and should not be tolerated.
People are well not the best all the time, because they're ignorant. The other reason is fear, they fear being hurt themself so they put others down.
It doesn't make sensee, racism never makes sense, nor does any other form of discrimination against any group of people.
Don't worry, there's nothing wrong with being muslim.

Tell you what, change your faith to anything else you want and you will find something interesting. They will still critic you, laugh at you and call you names. The nature of those people is to always belittle others in order to increase their own egos because of their own insecurity and self hatred.
Know this; you are not involved in the only faith who receives attacks and spiritual persecution from the religious majority. Remember, Christians have been recently behead in other places because of this same issue............lack of tolerance.
