First of all, since the "accident" happened at work I hope you filed a Workers' Compensation claim. Second, although the cops and/or management didn't do anything, you can still file a civil action against the offender. She could be made to at least pay for your medical bills and any time missed from work and, if in a higher court, several other issues could factor in. Another thing: if your company is part of a larger one, such as a franchise or branch office, file a grievance against the offending coworker and any manager that refused to do anything.

Now, as for "what comes around goes around", when people do others wrong it eventually comes back to them, often even worse. You deal with yourself and let fate deal with the other employee. For example, she hit you in the back, so maybe sometime in the future she'll be involved in an accident that causes her back injury.

What the saying means is that she will get what she deserves in the end. If you do bad things, they will come around and bite you in the end. If you do good things, they will come around and make your life better. I had a girl rear-end me in my truck. I was stopped at the light and she came barreling up behind me, too busy on her cell phone to know what was going on, and rammed me at about 55 miles an hour. She totally lied and said I cut her off. I'm stopped at the light and I cut her off? Yeah. Okay. The cop that came out to the scene told me that she (the officer) told the girl driver that it was her (the driver's) fault. When it came time to go to court, the officer said she couldn't remember the accident at all. I think the cop knew the girl's dad. Red neck bunch of f**ks! Anyway, they'll get what they deserve. Sooner or later. We just probably won't have the satisfaction of seeing it.

It just seems to me that good begets good and bad begets bad. The woman who hit you in the back will lose something for the act and since you weren't on the wrong side you will not suffer morally. I know, easy for me to say because I wasn't on the receiving end but I think the saying generally holds true.

People who consistently lie and cheat will get caught in the end. Not only that but they have to live with their conscience. Someday they'll regret all the acts they did that hurt others.

The best we can do as individuals is to follow the golden rule, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". I think this is just another way of saying the same thing.

I think of it this way, How do you want other people to talk about you when you're not around?

It stems from a Biblical saying, regarding reaping what you sow. You may never see her get her comeuppance, but she will. Not only are you suffering from your physical injury, but now you're suffering emotionally because you're anxious for her to be punished in some way. Let it go and move on. She's suffer ten times over what she's done to you.

One day, someone-whether now or later on down the line-she is going to either have someone hit her in the back or something much, much worse. It is called Karma. Trust me. She is going to get that something and it is going to put a little smile on your face because that is how things are.

It's actually "what goes around, comes around", meaning what you put out there in your life will come back to you. In a sense it means your hard work will pay off, or your bad deeds will be punished fatefully. That's pretty over simplified but basically what it means.

it means that karma will smack her in the face. trust in the saying. i do. and when it does hit her, it'll be worse. also the word of mouth is very powerful as well. if you are ever in a meeting with her. look her straight in the eyes when you are speaking to her. i bet she'll look away and feel ashamed. do it also when she walks by when you are with other coworkers. she'll feel the guilt.

Karma baby. Do bad things and bad things happen to you. Do good things and good things happen. She did a bad thing to you, so bad will come back around at some point to get her for her evil deed. So I am guessing you don't have surveillance cameras at work.

Just because she is getting off the hook in this situation, she will eventually be stricken with bad luck for her wrongdoings even if it isn't by the law.
