He liked her so why did he stop writing?

They liked each other for a year although never dated. He said he would like her to visit. He gave her his email and wrote a couple of times. So, why bother giving an email? He liked her.. why doesn't he leave a little hello note and show some interest so she can visit him.

Give it a few more tries. Write to him. Genuinely say hello. Ask if he is okay. Then stop. The ball will certainly be in his court. If he comes around, good. If not, let it go. Don't wait around. We have to learn to live with certain disappointments in life.
