All though I am female, I have naturally curly hair AND have shaved my head bald three times. Not for the same reasons at Brittney Spears did though i am sure.

I usually go to beauty supply shops. But have discovered that some of the drug stores in the area are starting to carry products for real women instead of the crap they used to carry.

Hair straightener will work once your hair gets to a certain length. If your hair is still pretty short, you need to use some form of "hair goop".

They do make hair gels that are typically in a tub that will stiffen your hair. You should do it while the hair is damp unless it says otherwise.

pomade is another term to look for

Try getting a relaxing kit for guys, availible at most beauty supply stores they are relatively inexpensive (around 5-10 dollars) and they are GREAT for straightening short hair.

style it like I do. Either that or sleep with a cinder block on your head. Either one will give you better results.
