Can you get contacts at any pharmacy with an rx?

I was told by my doctor that you can only purchase contacts from those pharmacies that are lienced in eye care and even than they most call the clinic that prescribed your contacts before they can allow for you to purchase them.

I think you'd almost have to get them from an optician or optical store. I don't think pharmacies carry contact lenses...not to mention, there are SO many different prescriptions...it would be hard for any pharmacy to make that much room to store them.

If you have a prescription you usually have to mail it in or go to an eye Dr at like Wal-Mart. Pharmacies don't carry contacts.

Try Wal-mart it's super reasonable
