Chris - You are obviously a pretty good golfer, and you would be doing yourself a huge favor by updating your driver! The technology in driverheads and shafts is growing by leaps and bounds every year. Get yourself into a 460cc head with a shaft fitted to your swing. You can get fitted on a launch monitor at any decent proshop for free. It might cost you a little money for one of these new sticks, but you'll be hitting wedges into greens instead of 7 irons. By the way if you end up doing this try the new TaylorMade Burner. I just got it and it is unbelievable!

265 on the fly is a good drive and you are using outdated technology. I know others have said that is good and you don't need to update but the fact of the matter is newer technology in Drivers has increased distance and accuracy. If you decide to update make sure you try out clubs before you buy. A good new driver should add 10 to 15 more yards to your carry.

Demo a new club, but dont be compelled to buy a new one. 265 is a good drive for a recreational golfer. A new 460cc driver will only add about 10-15 yds to your current drive. If you're comfortable and are scoring well enough with the Callaway, keep it. It'll save you $300+ too.

NO if you can hit it 265 on the fly in the fairway that's more than the average golfer can do. Try different balls for more distance if that is what you are looking for. Its the old adage if its not broke dont fix it. Now that being said there are lots of places that will let you try their demo clubs. If you find one that you can hit farther and still keep it in the middle than go for it.

You're doing very well with what you have. The question is, are you down the middle? I think you will get a little more distance with newer technology. The larger sweet spot on the latest clubs will allow you a more leeway with your swing, so I think that you would be pleased with an upgrade.
