You need to try to get them to see you in a different light. What kind of clothes and hair do you have? Could you dress a little more feminine? It doesn't have to be all the time. Try wearing a pretty dress and getting your hair done when you go to a dance or something. If you have other interests, try inviting the guy you like along. Maybe you can create a connection where there wasn't one already.

im not a guy but i feel the same way i am the sporty girl who plays all the sports and has more guy friends than girls i only started hanging out with guys to understand them but now they just think of me as one of the guys and i hate it because most of the guys i hang out with are way hottttttttttttttttttt.

I would not have a problem. As for men thinking you are one of them they are still young I would think. That should change over time if you want to wait, if you do not want to wait then look for older men.
