You heal a broken heart by givng yourself time to grieve and cry and get it all out of your system. Cleaning the house is great therapy and it puts "stuff" in order when everything else is mess.
Don't rush into another relationship or hitting the bars or wreckless behavior. That will only lead to more problems than you already have. BUt, doing something kind for a neighbor of friend is good, their appreciation toward you will give you the boost you really need. Good Luck!

i havent actually had my heart broken so to say but there has been times in my 7 years of marriage that I have felt broken. And it hurts when you feel broken by the one you trust and love. But life must go on you cant be sad over a broken heart forever it can be mended just give it some time before you find that new special one in your life.

In time you will heal and keep yourself occupied, do everything that you could do to make you happy. go the extremes but with the limit. Dont think abt the person who broke your heart think about everyone else. In time when you heal all the times you had with the person will turn into good memories

I hate to say it... but time is really the only way. But on the plus side, it heals even stronger than before... with a greater ability to love. An important part of emotional development is this process of experience.

ever watch sex and the city? in season 2 charlotte tells carrie that it takes half of the time you were with someone to get over them.

i know it's just a show, but that's actually usually about how long it seems to take. some things you may never get over. but i think time will at least make you feel a little better.

feel better!!

You have to let go of what-ever caused you to be hurt. Move towards the future, and forget about the past, because you can't change it... and theres nothing you can do but... keep ya head up. Just pray on it.. and you'll be straight!

You get involved in everything that interests you and keeps you busy. Anything that keeps you from thinking of him. Dancing, aerobics, whatever. Join a class and get yourself more motivated in you. You will find with time you will feel better. Remember that you are apart for a reason.
