She's vietnamese but has lived in usa since young. Now she's in her 40's/50's. She's short and slim. But I'm amazed because all day long while at work, she keeps eating and eating.. all kinds of things. And most of it is chips, mcdonalds, junkfood..and stuff like that. My question is, she does seem healthy but is she really that healthy....can she possibly be healthy even with those bad eating habits. Or do asian people have a super metabolism so that's why she doesn't get fat.. and also, even if she eats junk, it doesn't affect her?

Grr, people like that make me jealous, lol. She may end up with some cholesterol or high blood pressure issues, but not as bad as she would if she was overweight.

Some people are blessed with really high metabolisms. Junk food clogs up the arteries. She may eventually have a heart attack or a stroke, but she probably isn't in that much danger at her age because she is at ideal body weight.

Possibly it's her high metabolism, and that she's working out, or possibly she's trying to gain weight (and not succeeding). My sister is only about 90 lbs and eats such things whenever possible to gain weight (which just isn't happening).

Her eating habits obviously are not healthy, which usually translates into being unhealthy.

You're making the mistake that a lot of people make equating slimness with health. She could be having heart problems, cholesterol, etc., you wouldn't know by looking. Can't judge a book...

Just because she is thin does not mean she is healthy. Many people a geneticly slim. She may be unhealthy on the inside. It does affect her (maybe). She may excersice alot.

No at my school there are overweight asian kids too and also some skinny ones. She might exercise alot at the gym or just have mcdonalds dunring lunch and go home and have sushi for dinner, all oriental people love that meal.

Actually junk foods contribute nothing to our health. Her body size is maybe just a heritical matters...Thus, wisely say: your body figure is not a perspective of you good health. There are slims that are underweight, unhealthy, and malnourished.

That is exactly what my co-workers say about me....but I don't eat at home. I eat very little when people are not looking. I don't cook and I eat very little on weekends.
